You will usually find Amstel and Petra on draft in Aqaba. If your interested in a local craft beer, Carakale is definitely worth trying, sometimes also found on draft.
English Pub – Rover’s Return
Located in Aqaba Gateway, named after a long running English soap. The staff here are excellent, very friendly and speak perfect English. Combined with the relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
It’s definitely my top pick for Downtown Aqaba.

American Style Bar – Buffalo Wings & Rings
Located in Aqaba Gateway, a classic American style bar/restaurant. Attentive staff, fluent in English with a huge outdoor area. They have both a front and back terrace, the back terrace provides you with a sea view.
There are plenty of snacks available here to accompany your drink, the wings are excellent and shisha is also available.

Best Bar In Aqaba’s Ayla Oasis – Bar Thirteen
An American sports bar located in the Marina Village. Along the street you can find several different bars next to each other, all with a very similar outdoor feel. The only real difference between the terraces is the music.
We were directed to the seating outside bar Trio next door, which has a Latin feel, but taken care of by the staff from Bar Thirteen.
Lots of TVs to choose from inside if you want to catch some sport.

Important Information For Solo Travelers
It is advisable if you are going to Bar Street in Ayla Oasis alone, make a reservation beforehand.
They have a policy that the street is limited to couples, families and guests with reservations.
That being said, I’ve been told a female by herself would not have any trouble. For a guy, it would depend on the night and also your appearance.
